This leading organisation who supply to UK blue Chip organisations who have enjoyed continued success and growth are looking to recruit an experienced Interim Production Manager for imminent maternity cover.  

As Production Manager, you will be instrumental in leading, motivating and developing your team and helping the organisation to achieve it's production and client delivery targets. 

The main key objectives of the position, will be:

Team Development - ensuring that new and existing members of the team possess the key skills for their positions and identify areas for improvement / development and implement team training objectives with regular performance review and development.   

Management Information Reporting - on all key activities which will include daily/weekly operations reporting, strict financial control and KPI Management.

Maintaining Quality Management Systems - Ensure your team are kept up to date with current quality standards and Operational Procedures, ensuring quality check points are monitored and customer product quality requirements are met on a consistent and reliable basis. 

Ensure safe and healthy working environment is maintained with a focus on zero accident and near-miss culture, promoting 'Good Manufacturing Practice' and constantly working to '5S' requirements.
Applications are welcome from Production Managers who have experience of working within FMCG (fast moving consumer goods) manufacturing, Food Manufacturing and or contract packaging environments.

This role is a shift based position with a rotating 12 hour shift pattern 6am to 6pm, 4 days on 4 days off, there may well be the need for occassion night cover 6pm to 6am. Remuneration for this position includes salary of circa £35,000 per annum, company pension scheme, health insurance, etc.
